Cooperative Development Bank supply Rls 600 bn credit facilities to cooperators.
After measuring 5232 economic documents Cooperative Development Bank supplied Rls 600 bn facilities to cooperators in different economic sector in 2 recent mounts.
Cooperative Development Bank’s credit has been allocated to different economic sectors including Rls 160 bn in Agriculture sector, Rls 75 bn in Industry & Mind sector , Rls 154 bn in Housing & Constructive sector , Rls 98 bn in Commerce sector and Rls 12 bn in service & Multi Purpose respectively 26/5% , 12/6% , 16/4% and 18/7 % .
It is noticeable the bank’s credit facilities has been paid within the framework of different bounds including RLs 229 bn ( 38/2% ) , Rls 165 bn ( 27/4% ) and Rls 206 bn ( 34% ) respectively short , medium and long terms , in addition these credit facilities have been allocated to cooperative unions and companies and their members respectively Rls 405 bn (67/7) and Rls 194( 32/3% )
The said documents have been approved by bank’s central department, head quarters and branches and Rls 267 bn and Rls 332 bn facilities has been supplied .
it is note worthy cooperators have been provided with facilities through different bounds including Rls 465 bn Installment facilities and 134 bn civil participate , repairing and free –loan facilities .

UN proclaims 2012 International Year of Co-operatives
The ICA is pleased to announce the adoption of the UN resolution, "Co-operatives and social development: which proclaims 2012 International Year of Co-operatives. The resolution (A/RES/64/136) passed on 18 December 2009 by consensus was proposed by 55 UN Member States. It recognises that the co-operative business model is a major factor in realising economic and social development and calls on governments, international institutions, co-operatives and other stakeholders to support the development and growth of co-operatives worldwide.
