and there are over 130,000 co-operative societies with 23 million members

also the co-operative movement provides 1.5 million jobs.

 What is the ICH?

Founded in 2008, the Iranian Co-operators House is an independent, non-governmental organisation which unites and serves co-operatives. It is the 2nd non-governmental organisations in the Iran. Our members come from many sectors of the economy, including finance, rural and agricultural, agri-food and supply, wholesale and retail, housing, health, and the service sector. ICH provides leadership to promote, develop, and unite co-operatives for the benefit of people in Iran and around the world.

 What does ICH do?

·        ICH raises awareness about co-operatives.

·        ICH provides its members with key information, best practice and contacts.

·         ICH supports its members and the co-op sector through the provision of services in areas - development and government affairs & public policy,

·         ICH collect, identify, and disseminate sector news, innovations, initiatives, and information to members through a variety of mediums, including a electronic news service, newsletters, web site, a National Congress,

·         Guiding and contributing with the Cooperatives in administrative, organizational, technical management and other service affairs,
